Half-verde salsa!

10 seconds of whazzing in the food processor and these roasted goods transformed into a delicious salsa. I added salt, oregano, cumin, and black pepper...I would have put cilantro if we had it.

What you can't see in the first picture is this delicious goodness sitting on the counter, preparing to ferment!  Homemade sauerkraut apparently has great antioxidant capabilities and consists of salt, cabbage, and boiling water. I guess we'll see how it is in a week or so!

  1. Yum! Plus...I love whazzing! We should all whaz more often. Are you eating corn chips with your salsa? If so, I want some!

  2. We try to never have corn chips in the house...too dangerous! We have some healthy-ish pita chips, but often just dip veggies (like mushrooms or peas or carrots). We also love those "34 degrees" crackers (I think) that are super thin. Mostly, we put salsa on beans and rice or bean burritos!!!
